As a recognized leader in robot assisted vasectomy reversal, Dr. Kavoussi was one of three specialists in this operation who was asked to comment on the advantages of the technique. This was published in the scientific journal Fertility & Sterility. As more interest has arisen in the use of the robotic platform for performing vasectomy reversal, the Journal of Urology published a commentary on the article with Dr. Kavoussi advocating this technology in Fertility & Sterility. “It is a more ergonomic, less physically taxing modality with technical advantages of the precision of a robotic device in the hands of specialty trained microsurgeons”, states Kavoussi.
