Interest in vasectomies rise following SCOTUS ruling

The ruling reversing Roe v Wade by the Supreme Court of the United States has raised a lot of questions and concerns amongst many Americans.  Dr. Kavoussi has seen this impact most significantly in the number was of men interested in pursuing vasectomy.  The number of daily vasectomy consultation requests for vasectomy has increased by large volumes since the ruling.  Dr. Parviz Kavoussi states, “Although men taking some of the responsibility for contraceptive care, rather than the onus only being on women is a positive thing. However, vasectomy should still be approached as a permanent sterilization and taken as a very serious and thoughtful decision.  Vasectomy reversal is an option to reinstitute fertility in the future, as is sperm retrieval IVF, and the success rates are extremely high in experienced hands, it is not 100%, and these are much more expensive processes that rarely are covered by insurance.”

As a nationally recognized leader in vasectomy and vasectomy reversal, Dr. Kavoussi was interviewed by multiple tv news stations regarding this topic including Austin’s KVUE, and Spectrum as well as Univision.  To watch these segments, click on the following links…
