Testicular pain is one of the most common complaints men go to see the urologist for, but it is severely underserved. The impact on a man’s quality of life can be quite devastating. As an advocate of treating men in an organ preserving manner, Dr. Kavoussi taught a post-graduate course of surgical treatment for chronic testicular pain at the American Urological Association annual national meeting. Dr. Kavoussi treats men with meticulous microsurgical techniques to alleviate testicular pain on a weekly basis with high success rates and was asked to teach about these surgical techniques to fellow urologists at the conference.
