The American Urological Association national meeting takes place annually, and in 2025 it took place in Las Vegas, and offers education to over 15,000 urologists from all over the world. A number of important clinical topics and specialists are selected to teach post-graduate courses at this meeting. Dr. Kavoussi and several others in the field were charged with the task to teach the course on male pelvic and testicular pain. As an expert in minimally invasive surgical options for chronic testicular pain, Dr. Kavoussi taught the surgical therapy portion of the course. He performs these minimally invasive microsurgeries weekly to improve the quality of life of men with testicular pain.
