Dr. Kavoussi publishes study on abortion laws impact on the decision to undergo vasectomy

Since the passing of a restrictive abortion law in the state of Texas followed by the overturning of Roe v Wade, a change was noted in the trends in men undergoing vasectomy. Dr. Kavoussi published a study examining the impact of the laws on the trends and found that 39.3% of men undergoing vasectomy stated the overturning of Roe v Wade directly impacted their decision to undergo vasectomy. These men had fewer children at the time of vasectomy than men whose decision was not impacted by the law.
