Every year, Texas Monthly Magazine names a select group of physicians as its Superdoctors. This designation is given to a small group of physicians who are considered to be outstanding in their respective fields by their peers. These candidates are selected by the following criteria: years of experience, hospital appointments, fellowships, leadership positions, professional activities, board certifications, academic achievements/appointments, lectures, presentations, publications, honors, awards, and other outstanding achievements. Dr. Kavoussi states, “I feel very honored to be selected among this group of impressive physicians and feel humbled to be selected by my peers.” This is the 6th consecutive year that Dr. Kavoussi has earned this prestigious designation.
