uthscsa-blog-picAlthough the majority of Dr. Kavoussi’s career is dedicated to clinical practice and taking care of patients, he enjoys his position as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. He recently gave a lecture to the Urology Department in San Antonio on care for the subfertile male. This included men seeking vasectomy reversal to regain fertility potential. As an international leader in robot assisted microsurgical vasectomy reversal, Dr. Kavoussi enjoys teaching about this technique. He states, “it is always exciting to be able to share knowledge and techniques on such cutting edge technology. Residents and students in training always ask very thoughtful and challenging questions, which is a great way to make us step back and really evaluate what we do, and what benefits it affords our patients”.
