Testicular pain is one of the most common complaints seen in the urologists office, however, it has been understudied and undertreated. Over the last several years diagnostic and treatment strategies have advanced allowing for better care for men with chronic testicular pain. Dr. Kavoussi is a renowned expert in the evaluation and treatment of testicular pain. He was able to share his knowledge with urologists from all over the world on the diagnosis and management of this common problem as a faculty teaching a post-graduate continuing medical education course on testicular pain at the American Urological Association meeting in San Diego. Dr. Kavoussi states, “it was wonderful to see the turn out we had for this course by urologists from all over the world interested in providing better care for their patients with chronic testicular pain. As our options to help these men continues to improve, sharing this knowledge will help more men get treated appropriately.”
